Khatai (eggless)
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom essence
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup melted ghee (clarified butter)

Your favorite recipe follows:
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Sift the flour and baking powder twice.
- Mix flour, and 1/2 cup ghee. Keep on adding ghee one tablespoon at a time to make a soft dough.
- Shape into small balls and flatten with palm slightly.
- Bake in a greased cookie sheet for 15-17 minutes or till cracks appear on top of the cookie.
