Fruit salad

    Ingredients
    • 1 cup sliced banana
    • 1 cup cubed pineapple
    • 1 cup cubed melon
    • 1 cup sliced ripe mango
    • 1 cup cubed ripe papaya
    • 1/2 cup avocado pieces
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
    • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
    Your favorite recipe follows:

    Method
    • Blend all chopped fruits in a bowl.
    • Mix sugar and orange juice. Pour over fruit.
    • Garnish with shredded coconut and serve.
    Tips
    • If not serving the salad immediately combine all fruit pieces except bananas and avocados. Pour the sweetened orange juice over the salad and keep in the fridge. Add the banana, avocado pieces and coconut garnish just before serving.
    • If a fruit mentioned in the recipe is not at hand, substitute it with another or skip it.
